I think that most people know that the first meal of the day, the breakfast, is one of the most important meals. This meal is what makes the foundation for the energy, which your body will run on that day. This meal should ideally consist of some protein, good calories and fibers. White bread and orange juice is simply not good enough according to my opinion.
This recipe I present, is one of my absolutely favorite breakfast meals – a hot oatmeal cooked in the microwave oven. The great thing about this recipe is that it only takes 4-5 minutes from you start until you can sit and eat this great breakfast. This is also just great when you are in a little hurry in the morning. The recipe only contains three ingredients; oats, water and a little salt – something almost everybody has in their home all the times.
I normally eat the oatmeal directly as it is. However, you can easily make it a bit more delicious. Some people like to sprinkle a little layer of sugar on top. You can also try to chop some different nuts and sprinkle over the dish. It is also very delicious with fresh or dried fruit like bananas, strawberries, blueberries and so on. It is basically only your imagination that is the limit here.

You can also substitute water with milk, or use half milk and half water

That's a great tip. I'll try that tomorrow for my breakfast. I guess it gives the oatmeal a more cream-ish taste :-)
