This recipe for chocolate and nougat cake with whole hazelnuts is super delicious and easy to make. We have made it several times and served it for friends and family. It's our believe that most people find this cake very special and delicious. The cake is very moist and has whole hazelnuts in it which gives a nice and crunchy taste to the cake. The hazelnuts also gives a great look to the cake - a simple thing but still kind of special. This recipe contains nougat with gives a soft and creamy consistency to the cake. Nougat is made from sugar and honey roasted nuts mostly almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts and pistachios and has a great taste. We normally serve this cake with some homemade vanilla ice cream.
