This recipe for bacon-wrapped dates is just super simple to make. The dates are great as a snack or as a part of your tapas dinner. Tapas is a wide variety of snack or appetizers originally from the Spanish cuisine. We have served these bacon wrapped dates several times for our friends and family each time with great success.
When we first heard about bacon-wrapped dates we thought it was kind of wired. However, the salty taste of the bacon and the sweetness of the dates actually goes perfectly together. They are super easy to make and does not take that much time. There is really not much to say about these small treats - you should differently try them.

Another twist to this recipe is to add a single hazel nut (or another favorite nut) inside the date. Adding a little nutty crunch is quite nice.
