16. Free View over Copenhagen
This is one of my absolute favorite experiences in Copenhagen. The view from the highest tower in Copenhagen is so amazing. This tower is simple called The Tower and it is located at the Christiansborg Palace which is a government building where most of the Danish politicians are working. There are no entrance fee and it is open daily except Mondays. The tower is open during the day and closes around 9 PM. So there are good opportunities of getting a view over the city in day light, during sunset and in the dark. I will absolutely recommend visiting this place to get a 360 degree view over the city.

I just returned after 3 weeks in Denmark but didn't get a chance to go into Copenhagen this time. I'll definitely bookmark this for my next trip. Thanks so much for your recipes. I made the frikadellar tonight but will try to rye bread soon.
Lisbeth Petersen
The 18th is Sømods Bolcher, is a small father and son run old fashioned handmade hard candy factory in the heart of Copenhagen near Nørreport Station. They deliver to the royal family and are hands down the best in the entire nation. You can visit for free and watch them make the bon-bons by hand in the old building where they also have a small old fashioned store - it is absolutely magical how they knead the sugar mass, add flavors and colors (all natural) and then stretch the sugar mass and eventually shape and cut it. Samples are always offered to the on-lookers, fun for both adults and children. We live in the US and visit every summer and never miss a trip to Sømods Bolsjer.
