I come from Denmark and am now located in the us, I am however having a hard time finding fresh yeast. Have you tried using dry yeast in the recipe? And if so how/when would you add it in?
]]>Dissolving the yeast in lukewarm water will give a little head start. However, the "main" temperature rise in the dough is happening during the kneading process.
]]>I bake my own sourdough rye bread, but would like something a little lighter for breakfast - i plan to try this recipe...Responding to this topic: I think, for a short rise, perhaps dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water rather than cold.- give it a head start?
]]>Hi Wen. Another recipe that you 5-starred. Thanks! I'm happy that you also can use this recipe. Regards Kim (NordicFoodLiving.com)
]]>I'm happy that you like the recipe for these breakfast buns. Yes you can rise the dough at room temperature. I have not tried it myself but it should be possible. Try letting them rise for about 1-2 hours or until they have about doubled the size. Regards Kim (NordicFoodLiving.com)
]]>I normally use my stand mixer to knead my bread. You can also use your hands. In the beginning it will be wet but at the end (after 5-10 minutes) it should be nice and smooth. Regards Kim (NordicFoodLiving.com)
]]>Hi, when it says knead to a nice and smooth dough, will it be too wet to do that by hand?
Thanks in advance
