I have some lager vinegar, would this work also? I used it all the time when I lived in Denmark and find it has a good flavor for pickles.

HI. You should use the normal white vinegar which can be found in most supermarkets. It's clear and colorless. Sometimes it is called 'pickling vinegar'. I hope this answers your question.
