]]>After I make my elderberry wine, elderberry syrup, elderberry jam, I keep the pulp and use it in breads and muffins, or add it to yogurt. I love the berries. I also use the flowers to make tea. It's the most amazing tasting tea I've ever tried. I actually grew 2 black elderberry bushes from seed almost 5 years ago now. I also have currant bushes from seed (both red and black currants). I love the medicinal qualities of both elderberries and currants. I usually share my harvests with neighbors, friends, and relatives. Another really good drink from both the elderberry and currant bushes is to pour the syrup into a glass, add some ice and add mineral or sparkling water.
